The Costa Rican community in the UK first came together around the World Cup in 2014, when we did so well, and these are still fantastic memories for many of us still living here.
We had already chosen the lovely Editors Tap venue near Chancery Lane as the new home for our annual Turno Tico and Independence Day events, so we decided to arrange the football events here too.
Everyone loved the bar, and the bar staff loved us too, even joining us to cheer on the team! Sadly we didn’t do quite so well this year, but we are as proud as ever to see them on the world stage, and its always great to see members of the community wearing the Costa Rican team colours and singing their hearts out.
